The Story Of A Storyteller

The Story Of A Storyteller

She kept singing

No one listened to her.

She kept dancing

No one watched her.

She drew sketches

No one applauded her.

She kept writing

No one read her.

She made friends with the virtual world

People blocked her.

Yet she refused to hit her lowest

She was just stuck but not broken.

She was hurt, angry and sad

Life did throw her a test.

She still wrote when out there a stranger read her;

She still sang when a beggar listened to her;

She still painted when a child took her portrait;

And she still danced even when she had a broken spine.

She read the legends

She channeled the fire in her heart

It spoke for her.

She knew the secret

And that is what she wants to share.

Find your inner wealth

Be your own legend

Keep the fire burning;

Outgrow your struggles

They are meant to make you

Not break you.

That is the story of a storyteller

Listen to her tale;

Outgrow your struggles

Outgrow your pains.

Be a dreamer

Be a doer

As the struggle you face

Will only make you stronger.
